The Yarra River is the most iconic river that flows through the Melbourne Central Business District (CBD). While the most famous portion of the river is in the Melbourne CBD, the river itself is actually approximately 240 kilometres long from its source on Mt Baw Baw in the Yarra Ranges National Park. The upper half of the river is relatively clean, but the lower half of the river (which is in the Melbourne CBD) is actually quite polluted!
I took the sunset shot on the Princes Bridge, and I was glad that there were some nice clouds in the sky (clear skies don’t get you nice sunsets). The river was also relatively still too for some nice reflections in the water.
