Today i am reminded of good memories when i was in high school, namely my school anniversary celebration where there was a band festival contest for all students in the city of Metro. My friends and me took the initiative to take part in the festival competition and practiced for a few days together to prepare for the competition. On the day when the music festival competition started, there were a lot of concertgoers who came because this event was open to the public, so many other schools came to watch the band festival and participants from other schools came. That day also the weather was very sunny and encouraged us to be enthusiastic when performing later, finally after waiting for a while it was our band's turn to perform. Our band is called Melancholia Band which consists of 4 people, namely Me as bassist and vocalist 2, Adam as vocalist and rhythm guitar, Aji as melody guitar and Ogita as drummer. Our band performed a song from the band J Rocks, a band that is famous for its pop rock genre songs and we chose the song entitled "Reaching The Dreams". When i was about to perform, i felt a little nervous seeing the crowds of audiences, but i planted my confidence and thought positively that everything would go smoothly. Unexpectedly the enthusiasm of the audience was so great when our band performed made us even more excited. After the performance, i felt very happy and relieved because the performance of our band was very good and many spectators liked it, it can be seen from the photos above that the audience was very enthusiastic when our band performed. After all band participants have registered to perform, now comes the announcement for the winner, at that time the main prize given is a Tropy and cash of IDR 1,500,000 IDR or around $100 USD which is a very large amount if we win the contest considering that at that time we were still in high school. Unexpectedly, when the announcement of the first winner, the name of our band, Melancholia Band, was called to the stage to be given the grand prize. We were surprised and very happy when we won the festival band contest which is certainly a special memory for us when we were in high school, even though we have separated from each other because we are busy working individually. Beautiful memories of high school are sometimes difficult to forget, especially when you are an adult, it is very difficult to have time to meet our friends in high school. Of course it's very sweet to remember and always be something we miss in the future.
